So, you’re considering Eloping in Washington?

You deserve an Elopement Experience that feels like you.

Obviously, Washington State is a gorgeous!! But it’s also where adventure and ease meet in the best way when it comes to picking an elopement location. You can wake up in a cozy cabin, load up your packs, and be surrounded by alpine peaks before your coffee’s even cold. Whether it’s chasing sunrise in the North Cascades, watching clouds wrap around Mount Rainier, or ending the day with champagne and muddy boots this place makes it easy to do something unforgettable without all the chaos of a traditional wedding.

If you want your elopement to feel real, a little wild, and 100% you, Washington’s the spot. I’ll help you find the perfect view, plan the logistics, and capture the day exactly how it feels messy, beautiful, and completely yours.

It all depends on the experience you’re dreaming up. Generally, the best time for epic mountain views, wildflowers, and snow-free trails is July through October. If you’re drawn to the coast, forests, or those moody Pacific Northwest vibes, spring and fall offer fewer crowds and beautiful atmosphere. On the other hand, if a winter wonderland is more your style, December to March can be magical in lower elevations like the Olympic coast or forested areas. In short, there’s a perfect season for every kind of adventure.

To legally elope in Washington, you’ll need to apply for a state marriage license (note: there’s a 3-day waiting period). You’ll also need an officiant and two witnesses but don’t worry, I can help you coordinate all of that.

You share the vibe mountain peaks, misty coasts, deep forests and I’ll help curate the best locations for your day, tailored to the season, accessibility, and your overall vision.

Not at all! While I love a good hike, there are plenty of breathtaking spots in Washington that are drive-up or just a short walk away. Whether you’re craving a full blown adventure or something slower and more relaxed, I’ll help you find a location that matches your comfort level and your vision.

100%!! I’m here to make it easy. From choosing the right location to building your timeline, handling permits, and recommending trusted vendors, I’ll guide you through every step with clarity and support.

Absolutely! Eloping doesn’t mean going it alone. Whether it’s just the two of you or you’re bringing your closest friends and family, I’ll help create an experience that includes everyone in a way that feels meaningful and true to you.

Some Advice As your Washington Elopement Photographer

And from someone who’s been there myself!

01

Make the day about you, not what’s expected.

You get to skip the rules, timelines, and family drama. Eloping doesn’t make your day smaller – it just makes it yours!

02

Plan early (especially for permits).

Some of the best spots  like Mount Rainier National Park, North Cascades, and Olympic National Park  require wedding or photography permits. Always make sure to Leave No Trace.

03

Use planning resources to make it easy.

From choosing your date and location to picking an Airbnb and activities, a little prep goes a long way. Start with a checklist, and don’t be afraid to ask for help from your photographer (hi, that’s me) is here for it.
